Intern's Opportunities LG2G (applications welcome)

LG2G offers you multiple possibilites to play a part in this incredibly emerging project. An internship at LG2G gives you the opportunity to gain valuable work experience within a growing organization in the field of legally  and relocating expats to and helping to start new entrepreneurships in Germany.

You will develop important contacts with like-minded individuals both inside and outside the organization. You will learn valuable, transferable skills in the area of intercultural relations in general. You will, moreover, be able to commit your energy, enthusiasm, and creativity towards an exciting program.

Those interns at the LG2G who apply themselves are rewarded with extra responsibility, and are supported if they wish to pursue their own initiatives in the field. The LG2G has a dynamic, multicultural working environment, which serves itself as a venue for cultural exchange, and we welcome interns who are looking to make a difference in positive way.  Come and join the team during your studies, or as a graduate and gain valuable professional experiences in an international scenario.

However, do by no means apply and especially not work for LG2G when you

  • are not at all interested in German law,

  • have no command what so ever of the German language,
  • cannot describe legal situations or to non-lawyers,
  • cannot make complex concepts understandable.

Intern Responsibilities

Your specific responsibilities will depend upon your studies and interest in. Typical responsibilities include:

  1. Writing and editing articles related to legal and practical issues of getting settled in Germany,
  2. Public relations and marketing activity,
  3. Developing strategic partnerships with stakeholders in civil society, the public sector, and the private sector,
  4. Public relations and marketing
  5. Supporting the coordination of seminars.

Intern profile*

LG2G welcomes applications from individuals with the following attributes / qualifications:

  • Post or undergraduate studies in the following areas: international law, comparison of law, germanistics communications, economics, business, journalism, web design, and other related areas.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. German language skills are also a must – at least a working command

* = Before applying interns should be aware that all ICD internships are unpaid and that internships are only offered to individuals who can commit to an internship at the ICD for a minimum of 3 months. Professional assistance in applying for a visa can be offered. Depending on the qualifications, official fees and a free monthly transportation pass can be supplied.
